Castle Rock Restaurant and Bar Upgrades with CCS Support

Castle Café is a restaurant and bar that is undergoing renovations to provide improvements and expanded food service. The renovation project will retain 22 full-time jobs and 34 part-time jobs and create two new full-time jobs and nine part-time jobs. Castle Café was created in 1995 but its origins date back to the early 1890s when it was the Castle Hotel and Bar. Known for their fresh pan-fried chicken, the restaurant offers lunch and dinner menus featuring soups, salads, burgers and sandwiches, appetizers, home-style favorites, and southern dishes with a small selection of deserts. Located in downtown Castle Rock, the business is significant to the community, currently and historically.

CHFA was proud to support Castle Café with a $236,500 Cash Collateral Support (CCS) deposit to leverage $500,000 in private financing from Collegiate Peaks Bank.
